Breeding Stock Exports

Export Promotion
BPA organises a range of export promotion activities to support our members own breeding stock export programmes. Funding comes from UK Trade & Investment through the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

Grant levels under the TAP scheme can now be up to 3000 for new exporters to the UKTI designated high growth markets and each company or trader can now have a maximum of 6 grants for countries outside of the high growth and a further 6 for the high growth markets The starting point for these numbers is April 2009

UK Technology for Agriculture and Genetics
UK TAG has been established by the British Pig Association following our appointment as an Enhanced Accredited Trade Association by UKTI. The aim is to better reflect our all encompassing role in promoting the UKs Agri-Tec and Livestock Genetics industries to help exporters through the Trade Show Access Programme (TAP)

UK TAG will be run by our Export Manager Mr Chris Jackson who has a lifetimes experience within the agricultural industry and a practical knowledge of all of the countries where we can offer Government support Within UK TAG we can also offer advice on the UKTI schemes to promote exports and to develop overseas business through outward missions and trade show support. Our aim is to support companies at events that are relevant to their own business and our range of shows all of which are known to us reflects our desire to support all sections of our industry.
