Breeding Stock Exports
BPA organises a range of export promotion activities to support our members own breeding stock export programmes. Funding comes from UK
Trade & Investment through the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).
Grant levels under the TAP scheme can now be up to £3000 for
new exporters to the UKTI designated high growth markets and each
company or trader can now have a maximum of 6 grants for countries
outside of the high growth and a further 6 for the high growth
markets The starting point for these numbers is April 2009
UK Technology for Agriculture and
TAG has been established by the British Pig Association following
our appointment as an Enhanced Accredited Trade Association by UKTI.
The aim is to better reflect our all encompassing role in promoting
the UK’s Agri-Tec and Livestock Genetics industries to help
exporters through the Trade Show Access Programme (TAP)
UK TAG will be run
by our Export Manager Mr Chris Jackson who has a lifetimes
experience within the agricultural industry and a practical
knowledge of all of the countries where we can offer Government
support Within UK TAG we can also offer advice on the UKTI schemes
to promote exports and to develop overseas business through outward
missions and trade show support. Our aim is to support companies at
events that are relevant to their own business and our range of
shows all of which are known to us reflects our desire to support
all sections of our industry.
The BPA will be sponsoring the following Trade Fairs during the
2013 - 2014 programme. To be eligible for grant you must be
part of the official group and book through the BPA using our
booking forms. Booking direct with the show organisers may result in
your grant application being refused.
