AGM Voting
Voting for the resolutions on the agenda for this year’s Annual General Meeting will be carried out online as it was last year. In order to avoid any possible complications with double voting we are asking all members to vote online in advance of the meeting.
This link will take you to our AGM voting site. You will be asked to enter your HDL letters or Membership number and also your unique voting code which will be sent out by email. You must enter both in order to be able to vote on the various resolutions.
You do not have to vote on all the resolutions and you have the option to abstain or leave your vote in the hands of the person chairing the meeting. This would normally be the Association’s President. Proxy voting forms are available on request.
Voting will close at 12 noon on Wednesday 10th May to allow the results to compiled ahead of the meeting on Friday 12th.
This is the first opportunity we have had to appoint independent Non-Executive Directors to our board of Trustees. We believe we have identified two excellent volunteer candidates with the marketing skills that we need to help us develop our sustainable pork production workstream and sell more pedigree pigs and pork. Please take a moment to read about them in the document below. We hope that you will give them a ringing endorsement as we begin this exciting new development for the Association.
