Vet Attestations – What does it mean for non-assured pig keepers.
The Sustainable Pork Production Committee in association with AHDB will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday 27th February at 7.00 pm
This webinar will explain what Vet Attestations are and try to answer any questions you have so you can decide if your business will be affected.
We will look at all the different options that you have for obtaining a Vet Attestation Number including the Animal Health and Welfare Pathway and demonstrate how to provide the VAN to your abattoir or market.
We will also be joined by specialists from the EAML2 Bureau at AHDB to answer any other questions you may have about movement licenses and Pig Hub.
The Association of Independent Meat Suppliers (AIMS) who represent the smaller abattoirs will be available to answer questions about VAN’s and the other Food Chain Information that is required on the movement license.
